Now that you understand the technical side of video production, let’s dive into the exciting part: what to actually show in your TSG videos! Your weekly video diaries are your chance to tell a compelling story about your model’s journey and showcase your expertise. Here are some key content ideas to make your videos engaging and informative, all while adhering to the TSG guidelines.

1. Let Clients Talk About Their Journey (Testimonials and Transformation Stories)

  • The Power of Personal Stories: Nothing is more impactful than hearing directly from your model about their experience. Their genuine feedback and visible transformation will resonate powerfully with judges and viewers.

  • Weekly Check-ins: In your weekly videos (Videos 2-7), you can have your model briefly discuss:

    • How their skin feels that week.
    • Any changes they’ve noticed (positive or otherwise).
    • Their overall comfort and satisfaction with the treatment plan.
  • Before & After Reflections (Video 8): In your final summary video, have your model share their overall journey, highlighting:

    • Their initial concerns.
    • Their experience throughout the weeks.
    • Their final thoughts on the results and how it has impacted them.

Tips for Great Testimonials:

    • Encourage your model to speak naturally and from the heart.
    • Ask open-ended questions to prompt detailed responses.
    • Ensure good audio quality so their message is clear.

2. Demonstrations of Your Treatments and Techniques

  • Show, Don’t Just Tell: Two of your weekly videos (Videos 2-7) must include a demonstration of at least two weekly treatments being performed on your model. This is your opportunity to visually explain your process.

  • Clear and Concise Demos:

    • Break down complex steps into easy-to-understand segments.

    • Use close-up shots to highlight specific techniques (e.g., product application, massage movements, modality usage).

    • Explain what you are doing and why you are doing it as you go.

  • Focus on the “How”: Whether it’s a specific cleansing method, a unique massage technique, or the precise application of a serum, demonstrate your skill and precision.

  • Safety and Hygiene: Subtly showcase your adherence to professional safety and hygiene protocols during demonstrations.

3. Share Educational Content About Skincare

  • Discussion on Performance Ingredients (Video 2-7): One of your weekly videos must include a discussion about performance ingredients.

    • Explain why you chose specific ingredients for your model’s skin condition.
    • Discuss the benefits of these ingredients and how they work at a cellular level.
    • Connect the ingredients directly to the results you are aiming to achieve.
  • Discussion on Modalities and Protocols (Video 2-7): Another weekly video must include a discussion about modalities and protocols.

    • Explain why you selected particular modalities (e.g., microcurrent, LED therapy, high frequency) and your specific treatment protocols.
    • Detail how these modalities support the ingredients and contribute to the overall treatment plan.
    • Showcase your deep understanding of advanced skincare practices.
  • Open Topic Discussion (2 Separate Videos, Video 2-7): You have two “open topic” videos where you can truly showcase your expertise! Use these to:

    • Elaborate on a specific skin condition.
    • Discuss common skincare myths.
    • Share advanced tips for home care.
    • Explain the science behind a particular skin concern.
    • Provide insights into client consultation or treatment planning.
    • Think about what unique knowledge you possess that would impress the judges.

By strategically planning your video content around these ideas, you’ll create a comprehensive and compelling visual diary that highlights your skills, knowledge, and the incredible transformations you achieve.
